Careers: Web + Flash Designer

Designs and builds interactive projects such as Web sites, interactive CD/DVDs, Flash movies and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Graphic Design

• Works with the Project Manager and client to conceptualize and graphical layout of clients' Web sites, interactive CD/DVDs, or logos.
• Selects appropriate images, typography, and colors to ensure projects are visual appealing and user-friendly.
• Makes changes to designs based on feedback from the Creative Director, Project Manager and clients
• Utilizes Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create layouts.

HTML & CSS Coding

• Transforms graphical layouts of Web sites to HTML pages
• Slices graphics files into optimized images used on Websites
• Uses Macromedia Dreamweaver to build pages using HTML and CSS
• Integrates client content into pages
• Experience building W3C compliant pages is a plus
  

Flash/Motion Design

• Uses Macromedia Flash to create a variety of projects ranging from Web page intros, small movies integrated onto Web pages, tradeshow presentations, all-Flash sites and interactive CD/DVDs
• Utilizes good working knowledge of ActionScript 2.0
  Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and/or 3D software is a plus

Required Skills :

• Excellent graphic design skills and strong portfolio
• Macromedia Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash
• Actionscript 2.0
• HTML & CSS coding
• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English 
• After Effect & Cinema 4D or 3D Studio Max a plus, but not required
• Professional Web design experience preferred

Hours: full-time or contract positions available

Location: Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL

Compensation: Salary or hourly rate (contract) commensurate with experience and portfolio quality. Benefits for FT employees include health insurance, PTO, 401K, flex-time, Aflac and life insurance
